Can you be a little more specific? What exactly don't you understand? I assume you are talking about steps 16 and 17 in the Procedure section where you are wiring the battery to the switch. The diagram in Fig 2 shows where each wire goes and the text explains it also. Did you get a double-pole, double-throw switch? Just follow the instructions that tells you which wire to attach to which pole.

Please rephrase your question and tell us exactly what you tried to do that didn't work or which part of the instructions did not make sense to you. Then maybe we can figure out how to help you.
