URGENT HYDROELECTRIC!!!

Post by VictoriaLee »

So, I am going to make a basic hydroelectric generator with the copper wire and neodymium magnets. The problem is, that this project is due soon and I really want to make this into an experiment. I know alot about Hydroelectric generator, but I would like to receive some professional opinions on how I can turn this into an actual experiment.
Thank you very much,
Victoria :)

An interesting basic experiment along these lines would be to try to see how your design parameters (such as choice of magnet, speed of water, etc) impact the efficiency of your generator (that is, the ratio of electrical power output to your electrical load to the mechanical power input in the moving water). Best of luck with your project, and feel free to ask follow up questions as you flesh out your experiment.
