Bacteria Communication please replay asap

Hello I am planning to do a science fair project due in about 4 months. For the project we need to preform an actual expirement and our project can not be based off only observations. I am thinking of doing an experiment on the chemical compounds reaslesed by common bacteria on your skin, and see what effect the chemical compounds have on the human skin. The problem is that I need help figuring out a way to test this. If you have any ideas how I could test this plz help. Thank you
