Leaves and Light
What is the purpose of doing the project Leaves and Light? To think of it, it is a great project to do but has no reasonable purpose of doing it. If there is please tell me

Simply, the reason to do science fair projects is to learn the process of scientific exploration, experience new facets of science and learn a little more about yourself and the world around you.
Do we know what colors of light are used by leaves? Sure we do. If you don't and you're interested, is it more fun to do the experiment and discover it for yourself or to read about it in a textbook? So the purpose of doing it is for the fun of exploring the topic and exploring the process. If you don't think that leaves are interesting enough to learn more about - what do you find interesting? Maybe some different topic will make you smile? Have you looked at our project idea finder?
