What are the physics of a guitar?
How would I explain the physics of a guitar, using scientific vocabulary, to someone who is new to playing the instrument? I want to be able to explain in scientifically but simple enough that they would understand.

Hi Joshua1998,
A site called Hyperphysics is an excellent resource for these types of questions. Check out the following pages:

http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/hframe.html
http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hb ... on.html#c2
You can click on each of the "bubbles" in the last two links to get additional information about the topics listed inside each bubble.
