How can i successfully grow cyanobacteria in a BSL 1 lab, and if I can, what do I need to do so?

Re: growing cyanobacteia
Hi,
Cyanobacteria grow easily, and there is a lot of information out there on how to do so. I used the search term "cyanobacteria culture" and found a few great sites, this one, included: http://cyanobacteria.web.pasteur.fr/
You can make the media from the raw material components, or buy them semi-made (powders you dissolve in water) or in ready-to-use liquid formats. Have a look through the protocols and let me know if you have questions.
