Why is nobody developing a reversible fuel cell car?
No hydrogen infrustucture required.

m_ter_berg - What is the reverse cycle in this hypothetical question? The output of a hydrogen based fuel cell is electricity, water, heat and other trace emissions. The electricity would be used to power the car. Assuming you capture the water produced by the process, the reverse reaction would be to convert it back to hydrogen and oxygen using large amounts of electricity through electrolysis. This would seemingly be pretty inefficient.

I don't think it would beat a Tesla in terms of efficiency.
