Iodine vs Lugol's Iodine Solution

I am testing the quantity of Vitamin C in fruit juices but I need to make a Iodine solution for my test.
What is the difference in the two different Iodine and which would be better to use?

Hello!

Lugol's Iodine is actually a combination of potassium and iodine. The science buddies store kit for vitamin C titration actually uses Lugol's Iodine, so this might be the better option.
