Building the Tallest Tower project question

Post by deleted-315943 »

My fourth grader is preparing to complete the building the tallest tower project with lego towers. One question is how the base of the tower is attached to the shake table? If it is not attached, it is just going to move around on the shake table. Should we glue or clamp them on the binder to stabilize?
Thanks.

Hi,

I think step 6 of the set up procedure answers your question:

"Attach a large, flat LEGO mounting plate to the top of your shake-table by slipping it underneath the rubber bands. This will be where you mount your structures to the shake-table."

i.e. The LEGO plate is the base of the tower and it is attached to the shake-table.

Good luck.
