Water disinfection science fair project!HELP!!

In the science experiment it says that you are supposed to leave the daylight blue 100 watt lamp pointing to the water for 12 hours.I have a daylight blue 150 watt lamp how long am i supposed to leave this one pointing to the water.

I need help ASAP my science fair deadline is ending soon.

Hi Julian,

100/150 x 12 = 8

So instead of 12 hours with a 100W lamp you would use 8 hours with a 150W lamp to get the same total light exposure.
