Hi billybog,

Often in vitro cell culture is used as a model system for human tissues, when the research project is about biological compoents. If you are studying something like dehydration, you may use agar or jello plates to mimic human skin for the study. Tell us a bit more about your project and what you hope to study and we can direct you further.
