Similar Triangles: Using Parallax to Measure Distance

Post by deleted-322784 »

I am planning to use this project outline for a science fair. But one of the prerequisites is that we have a testable question??? Any testable question ideas surrounding this project

Hi ewjoey,

I’m assuming that you are working on the project described here:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p019.shtml

The objective of this project is to measure distance using motion parallax. So a couple of possible questions might be “how can motion parallax be applied to distance measurement?” or “can motion parallax be applied to make accurate distance measurements?”.

You might want to review the information on project questions and hypotheses at these links:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ctquestion

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... hypothesis

I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.
