Science Fair
Hi, I wasnt able to do my aquaponics project, but i was wondering whether if you search some other experiments, use those results as for showing your hypothesis was correct, is researching the experiment also considered a science fair experiment? Please answer ASAP

Re: Science Fair
Hello,
The answer to your question will depend upon the requirements for your project. If you need to do experiments to test your ideas, then you will have to formulate a hypothesis based on existing literature, and then perform the necessary experiments to see if your hypothesis was correct or not.
However, you could use existing experiments that have already been performed by others to support a hypothesis you make (while citing the original research of course!), but in my opinion, this would seem as something more along the lines of a research report and not a science fair project. Typically you will be doing your own experiments for a science fair project.
Please be sure to ask your teacher(s) for further information.
Best of luck!
