balance affecting sight

Post by deleted-331970 »

My daughter has to have two books in hand for class in order to write a research paper. Her project is about balance being affected by not being able to see compared to seeing. She did her experiment with her dance class buddies. Can you give me any information as to what books could help write her research paper? I am having significant trouble finding any.
Thanks!

ssmithson - Physical balance is very much influenced by our vision reference to external surroundings. The sensory inputs from our body, less vision, is very imprecise. As a pilot, I am always reminded that our view of the horizon is our primary reference to the attitude of our airplane when flying. When our vision is occluded by clouds, the only credible reference as to whether we are climbing, diving or turning left or right is thru our instruments.

I think you can research 'vision and balance' and see a variety of references that will assist you.
