Chromatography Paper help!

So Last year i ordered Chromatography paper and i just realized i lost it. This project i'm doing is called 'Make Your Own Markers' so are their any substitutes for the paper? I cant order new paper because its due in 1 week? Please help i'm desperate :(

You will get the best results with chromatography paper, however, since you need a substitute, try using paper towels. Use a plain white towel that has sturdy and dense texture. Coffee filters will not work.

The filter paper used will be one of your controlled parameters, so using paper towels is acceptable for this science project.

In your discussion section, you can mention that it would probably be better to use chromatography paper if you were to repeat the experiment, but you don’t have to explain why you did not use the preferred material for your project.

Since your project is due in a week, this is a good time to review everything needed for your display board. Make sure you include all of the required sections:
