Biology - Biochemistry - Gnetics

Hi! I'm a spanish student that have to do a research project. I have 1 year to do it. I'm studying the science brand and i love biology. I'm very interested in genetics and in biochemistry, and i'd like to focus my project to this topics, but the problem is that i'm 16, and the problem is that i can't do a lot of things because of my age (because i can't afford laboratory gear or even work as a volunteer in one). So i will be really thankful if anybody can help me showing me what type of experiments I can do, or guiding me with the topic of my research project, because right now I'm stuck

Happy to hear you are interested in biology! It is a great field to be in. Sciencebuddies.org is a great resource for finding and project and guiding you through it. Have you checked out the project idea pages? I did a search for the topics your interested in and I also refined the search for the budget factor.

I would suggest reading through these and reading through some that are of interest. Hopefully one will really stand out as something you would want to do for your topic. On any of the project pages, there is a tab called Make it your Own, which gives variations on the projects so you can really make yours stand out.

Thanks for the support! I'm searching for some ideas, and I hope i can find any good ones and start with my project as soon as possible!
