Artificial pancreas

Post by deleted-331508 »

We are able to execute the following project.
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... #procedure
but only flaw is that the remaining quantity of baking soda is more then 100 ml.which means 200ml of vinegar is neutralizing in less than 200ml of baking soda.We worked all the possibilities of errors listed but no result.
Please let us know if anyone has any idea.

Hello khadeejabaqui,

From your post it seems that you were able to get your artificial pancreas model to pump the baking soda solution into the vinegar. But the pump stopped before 200 ml of baking soda was pumped into the vinegar.

There are several reasons that it may have taken less than 200 ml of the baking soda solution to stop the pump. The circuit normalization is very important and I suggest going through the normalization procedure again, then a repeat trial of the experiment.

The project procedure lists several other possibilities. You might want to review this list for additional ideas on how to improve the accuracy of the experiment.

I hope this helps. Please ask again if you have more questions.
