Help!!! problem with electrolyte chalenge

it seems that my multimeter isn't working, but id like to make sure. when i straw in to the liquid, the multimeter goes blank but when i take it out 00.0 comes up. also some times it changes number when it is not in a liquid and when i put it in it freezes on that number and blinks... it work fine for my first 2 trials but now it is acting up.

One way to see if the problem is with your multimeter would be to get another multimeter. Perhaps you could borrow another one from a friend or a teacher?
