Biofuel
Can you please help me think of a science fair title that sounds good but also scientific? My topic is making biofuel out of banana peels, citrus peels, apple skins, etc. and them comparing them to see which one is the best.

Re: Biofuel
Hi!
This project seems very cool and it's great you're taking an interest in the title, as it is essentially the first impression you will give the judges.
My suggestion is something catchy- like Fruity Fuel, or Feeding off Fruit.
You can also use things like the results or the way you are exactly testing your biofuel to see which one is best.
I'm sorry I couldn't be entirely helpful, but please feel free to reply here with any ideas you may have so I can better help you expand upon them.
Thank You!!

Re: Biofuel
Thanks for all the options but I was wondering if I could get more of a scientific name because I feel as if the judges will be more attracted to my project.

Re: Biofuel
Most people like a humorous title because it gets more interest from viewers.
If you want a plain title then just state what you did--"Comparison of Fruit Waste Coals as Biofuel"
If one of your fruit 'coals' burned a lot better than the others then you could say: "Banana [or apple or citrus, etc.] Peel Coals Produce the Best Biofuel"

Re: Biofuel
To piggyback off of what SciB said, I like when people combine the "fun" title with the "informational" version using a colon. For example, "Banana Briquettes: Comparison of Fruit Waste Coals as Biofuel." Good luck!SciB wrote:Most people like a humorous title because it gets more interest from viewers.
