Thank you gift for mentor?
My daughter has the most amazing adviser/mentor this year. She has been incredibly detailed in her feedback, encouraging, easy to communicate with, etc. I'd like to do something nicer than just a thank you note when science fair season all over. Any suggestions?

Re: Thank you gift for mentor?
Hi janet41,
Hmm...this is a question I haven't been asked before. Do you know what the mentor's non-academic interests are? Perhaps she/he has enjoys seeing plays or eating out at a favorite restaurant? Perhaps someone else will chime in, but my advice would be to come up with a gift card of some sort.

All the best,
Terik

She's in a different city, so my daughter only 'knows' her by email. We can probably do something generic like amazon, though.
