Phases in Chmistry

Post by deleted-351702 »

Is there any pure substance whose phase stays fixed while its physical condition changes?

Hello
Most of the pure materials alter their phases while their physical condition changes. For instance, if we melt ice, its phase will be changed.
However, I asked a chemist and that person answered there are quite a few substances like this.

Hi majaz,

Is your question related to a K-12 science fair project? If so, what is the hypothesis you are trying to test? If not, then a different set of online forums will be better able to help you. These particular forums are specifically for K-12 students, parents, and teachers working on science fair projects.
All the best,
Terik
