can an electronic rain detector switch off power in an area if so how because its my project i want help

Hi simusokwewebby,

I’m sure that it’s possible for an electronic rain detector to activate a power switch. In fact some automobiles are equipped with rain sensors that switch the windshield wipers on and off.

Could you please post some details about your project and the experiment you have in mind. With some more information someone here will be able to help you.
