Help ( My first project )

Post by deleted-365665 »

I was looking for an idea to search about, then i found this : "the plastic can Difficulty moldered", so i started searching more and more.
I knew that the Bacteria can molder the plastic but it takes so long, because the bond of the atoms in the plastic is so strong.
I reached to how can we break the bond of the plastic's atoms. then i found homolytic fission and heterolytic fission.

My questions is :

1- Is it able to use homolytic fission and heterolytic fission to break the bond of the plastic's atoms ?

2- Is there anything wrong about what i said ?

Special thanks for the website developers

I was searching for something like that

I'm afraid we didn't quite understand your questions. Can you explain how you mean to degrade plastic--if that is what your project is about.

Bacteria may be slow but they can be engineered to be very specific in breaking down plastics. Also, they can live in landfills and other areas where plastic waste is found. There might also be bacteria that live in sea water that can eat plastic. Plastic trash in the oceans is a big problem. It can kill fish, mammals and birds.

Different plastics--polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC, etc. require different conditions to be degraded in the environment. Are you proposing to break down a specific type of plastic?

Post again and try to explain exactly what you plan to do.

My idea is to make the bond of the atoms in the plastic weak, what will help the Bacteria to degrade the plastic trash easier, like plastic bags and plastic bottles.

I found homolytic fission and heterolytic fission, when i read about it i understood that it's something we can use to make the bond of the plastic's atoms weaker.

1- Can we use homolytic fission and heterolytic fission to make the bond of the plastic's atoms weak ?

2- Is my idea about the homolytic fission and heterolytic fission wrong ?

I hope you understand my idea

Thanks you
