Sunscreen on plants

Post by deleted-366441 »

Just out of curiosity, what would happen if you put sunscreen on plant leaves? Would it block sunlight so that plants wouldn't be able to do photosynthesis?

Thank you!

Hello greentea06,
The ScienceBuddies Forums are for students grades K-12 who are doing science projects. If you are doing a science project on the effect of sunscreen on plants, please tell us more about your project, including your hypotheses and research design. We will be glad to help you with your project, but we need more details!
