Sound Fire Extinguisher

Post by deleted-294375 »

Hi everyone, I would like to try and experiment with a sound fire extinguisher but I need some help with how to start this project since its not that clear to me. I would really appreciate any help towards what parts to purchase and possibly some on building it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi blackbird123,
This is a fascinating approach! To get started, I suggest that you do some research on sound waves as well as search for "sound fire extinguisher." I see that the Science Buddies project ideas has several projects based on investigating sound waves. Look at those to see how the waves are generated and how they are measured. I search on the internet and see that there are several science projects that seem relevant. That should get you started on how to set up your experiments. Let us know if you have more questions!
