Better science project (was I need to do an experiment)

Post by deleted-371044 »

my experiment was to get fertilized eggs and see if they could hatch without shells, then watch them grow for about three weeks. By three weeks the chicks would be fully grown and given to a local farm to live but I need a project that ensures the safety of the chicks. The project has been done before but my school and mom would rather have a different test subject then the chicks. So my question is are there better science projects that use zoology but with animals that if something were to happen that it wont be okay? Like if i use fish that were going to be used as bait or bugs that were going to be food at pet stores.

Hello ScienceFairIsMyLife and welcome to Science Buddies,

First, notice that your post has been moved to its own topic rather than being lost in another topic's thread.

You asked if there is a better science project ... it will help the Science Buddies experts to answer that question if you describe the background to your project - what hypothesis you want to test.

Science Buddies has a project guide which might help you develop your project:

You can also browse through the Science Buddies project ideas to see what sort of projects use animals or fish:
