I am looking for a project related to buliding and construction which uses
calculus. I have an llth grader who needs a project related to this since he wants to go into construction. He needs a project to keep him motivated and also so he can past the course. Can anyone help?

Two places to look:
1. On Science Buddies, you can use the project selection wizard or jump to the four civil engineering projects on: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/mentorin ... l?from=TSW
2. Go on the Ask Dr. Math bulletin board, http://mathforum.org/dr.math/ at Drexel. Since I don't believe your question is in their archives, you may need to take option 3, Write to Dr. Math.
