For science fair, we need a question in the form of
"How does ___ affect ___"
I am doing the project on this website called "Forensic Science: building your own tool for identifying DNA" and I do not know a good question for it. Could someone please help me come up with one?!?!

In order to generate that science fair question, we need identify the variables that you are trying to study in your experiment. Can you give us more details about what specifically are you trying to do please?
I know you mentioned that this is urgent so, as an example, here's a setup listed in the variation page of that experiment:

"1. Are all food coloring dyes made from the same molecules? Compare different brands of food coloring dyes. Do they migrate the same distance over time? Do they have the same color composition?"
To convert this into the form you need, you will need to identify your variables and its impacts.
In this case, the variable is the "molecules of the different brands of food coloring dye" and the impact that you measure is the distance that they migrate over time. Putting it together, you have "How does different molecules affect the migration distance in an Gel Electrophoresis Chamber?"
