Hologram

Post by deleted-390113 »

Hi
I've come across the project about DIY PHONE HOLOGRAM many times .

Although I know that holography is based on the principle of interference but fail to understand how the DIY Hologram works ?
Is it the same principle ? How does the shape affect the bending of light and the 3D projection obtained .u
Can you explain briefly
Thank You : )

Hi vivid16,

I’m not familiar with holography but I did find an explanation of the phone hologram projector at this link:

https://diyhacking.com/diy-hologram/

To make this work you need to project four image variants on the faces of a pyramid-shaped screen. A 3D-like image forms in the center of the pyramid.

I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.
