Gravitropism in Plants Experiment

Post by deleted-412361 »

We are doing "Gravitropism: Plants on the Move" experiment. Why does it call for coleus plants in particular? Can another type of plant be used if we can't find coleus plants? Are they fast-growing?

Good questions! I hope that another expert can also chime in to help. I'm not sure in particular why that type of plant is suggested. However, if you take a look at the "Make it Your Own" section, you will see some other suggestions you can try to vary the experiment using several different types of plants.

Hope this information helps. Please let us know if you have further questions.
