Necessary Microarray Malfunction

Post by deleted-425418 »

I am unable to complete my science fair project, Creating a Kidney: How Stem Cells Might be Used to Bioengineer Vital Organs, due to some malfunction in a database, Amazonia!, that is necessary for me to collect enough information in my procedure. The microarray is allowing me to search for certain genes, but is restricting me from seeing the expressions which is necessary for my project. Could someone please direct me toward another database that could supply me with similar information?

Hello, and thank you for your question.

Can you tell me more about what information you are searching for? If you can't use the database you were initially using, you could try using tools on the NCBI website. I was doing some quick searching, and they do have tools available that allow you examine expression data for different genes in different disease models. Let us know more specifics and we can try to help further. Also, perhaps another expert who is more familiar with the NCBI website than myself can also weigh in.

Best,
