Temperature under vacuum

Post by deleted-442287 »

What is the temperature difference of regular air vs air under a vacuum? I need to know for degassing silicone. I need to know how hot the heat pad gets inside of the chamber

Hi Krowmn13,

Can you please provide some additional details about what you are trying to measure? How good of a vacuum is your vacuum? (i.e., do you know what the pressure is inside your vacuum chamber?)

If you're interested in the temperature of the heat pad, then you may be more interested in the differences in heat transfer in air vs. in vacuum, rather than the actual temperature of the air or vacuum.
All the best,
Terik
