I've been asking myself a lot of questions about perpetual energy and the like, mostly working with magnets, but that's a entirely different discussion. It come to my understanding that magnets wear out after a long enough time has passed or after continued use. And so, I asked myself, "WHAT about Earth's magnetic poles? They've been around for a long while haven't they?"
I'm a curious person, and would like an answer even if it isn't one Id like to hear. Maybe this was a question someone asked in 2nd grade and was easily answered and I'm just a dummy. Thank you for your answers ahead of time, that is if you so choose to answer.
Can the earth's magnetic poles wear out?

Hello. This forum is to help students with their science fair project and not for general questions. If your question is related to a science fair project, please tell us more about it. Otherwise, there are other forums more appropriate for general questions.
Thank you!
Thank you!
