BlueBot Project #3

Post by deleted-416448 »

Why is my bottom motor getting less power than my top motor? I have double checked everything and it's all in the right place. the bottom motor goes at a normal pace for a few seconds, then slows down a lot. Do you know why? Thank you.

Hi Sadia22551,
Based on your description, it sounds to me like you have a bad motor. Just to confirm, can you swap the top motor with the bottom motor? This way, you can see if the problem follows the motor or if this is a circuit issue.
Good Luck!

Hi - If you are having a problem with your BlueBot kit, please contact us at [email protected]. Please send photos of your circuit, as clear as you can, looking straight down at it so we can take a look. (Please include the name on the order, too.)

There may be some small problem in your circuit that accounts for the problem you are seeing.

Hello! I have two questions. 1. How can the IR Sensors detect the difference in color? (Black from white) 2. Why do you have to switch the jumper wire from positive to negative if you want it to go in the other direction? Thank you so much!

Have you read the detailed information on the "background" tab of the project? It explains a great deal about the IR sensor and how it detects light/dark:
