Itch Scratching Project

Hey there,
I have a science project coming up soon at my school and my idea is to make an object that could get scratch an itch without hurting a skin by abrasion. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on what materials to use that is skin friendly and doesn't cause too much friction.

There are numerous sponges, pumice stones and other gently abrasive materials used to remove dry or dead skin. An example is shown here:
