Dealing With Diabetes

Post by deleted-420502 »

Hi... I have created a successful and working artificial pancreas. I was wondering if there is a way that I could turn this into a project by answering a question and having a hypothesis etc. Please let me know any and all ideas.

Hi Abby816,
Nice work! To turn this into a science experiment, one possible idea is to use this artificial pancreas to test out different scenario with different / more realistic solution. (Let say instead of the vinegar, you use something like orange juice instead and other similar substitute for the baking soda.) You can then create a hypothesis about the reaction, etc...

Otherwise, I think you can combine elements of the "Make it Your Own section" (May be sports drink and the fructose, etc...) https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... eityourown

Good Luck!
