Hi,
I'm doing a science project on acne medications ability to fight S.epidermidis and I can't find much information on the internet about the similarities between S.epidermidis and P.acnes.
Thank you

Re: Similarities between P.ances and S.epidermidis
Hi,
I could not find any websites that compared Propionibacterium acnes with Staphylococcus epidermidis, but you can get a pretty good description of the two species of skin bacterium from the Wiki entries:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propionibacterium_acnes
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staphyloc ... pidermidis
You could try searching for staph epidermidis microbiome
Skin has its own microbiome, the collection of bacteria, fungi and viruses that live on human skin. You will find research on skin bacteria under various conditions and maybe some information about the two species that you want to study.
Using the information in these sites, you can write your own comparison. If there is something you don't understand, let me know and I will help you.
