Here are some websites to start you off:
Overview sites (info about the parts of the brain, what they do, where they are located):
http://www.cs.stir.ac.uk/courses/31YF/N ... es_OV.html
http://library.thinkquest.org/J002391/functions.html
http://www.waiting.com/brainfunction.html
Info on what happens when the different lobes are damaged:
http://www.merck.com/mmhe/sec06/ch082/ch082b.html
A more specific page to your question:

hey valduck17
this is what i think:
The two inferior colliculi are involved in hearing. They relay information to the medial geniculate bodies of the thalamus.
I got this information from http://www.csuchico.edu/~pmccaff/syllab ... unit2.html
it has all sorts of info about the brain like cerebellum and cerebrum info
another site you can go to is a study of harvard U:
http://www.hno.harvard.edu/gazette/1998 ... ndCha.html
Hope This helps and Good luck with your project,
JR
