Hello there.
i am really confused. :?:
what do you think are the antibiotics present in the liquidwaste in hospitals??
as far as i know, there are lot of antibiotics in it.
what chemical components that are common in all antibiotics?? :?:

Hi Lizette,
Any time people or farm animals take antibiotics, they excrete some of those drugs. As you can imagine, any antibiotics used in the hospital are likely to be present in the hospital's waste water.

If you do a search on google.com for "hosptial effluent antibiotics" you will find a lot of information about the specific compounds that exist in waste water, as well as some of the important concerns that relate to this problem.
