Soil Moisture Project with Snowpeas

Post by deleted-605879 »

Hi,

I am participating in a science fair in a couple of months. At first, I was interested in designing a self-watering mechanism for plants. So, I was able to get two Vernier soil moisture sensors. This way I would be able to obtain some data before constructing this mechanism. However, this doesn't interest me anymore. So, I would like some help in coming up with another idea using the same soil moisture sensors. All in all, I would somehow like to relate my new experiment to capillarity, applications in space, a water study, or microorganisms.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to Science Buddies,

In order for the experts here at Science Buddies to help you, would you please describe your science project in more detail? Please tell us your hypotheses and how you plan to conduct experiments to test those hypotheses.

Thank you.
