If there is no extra cellular fluid like water how would the phospholipid bilayer arrange? Would it still have a double layer? Or a single one with the phospholipids hydrophilic part on the interior and the hydrophobic tails on the exterior?

Hi Adriana,

Is your question related to a science fair project? This forum only handles queries from students about their experimental science projects.

If you have a general science question about cells and membranes, I suggest that you try and find the answer yourself online. Searching for accurate information online is a skill that you need to have for schoolwork. There are many good websites for biology and life sciences and lots of excellent video lectures that you can watch that will explain everything about subjects that you are interested in.

There are also question and answer forums like Research Gate where you can post your question and get replies, but you have to be careful of this information as it is not always completely accurate.

Good luck!
