Science Fair Project Idea and Help!!

Hello,

I am in grade 7. For this years science fair project I am a bit confused on what topic I should do. I have done some research and have found some project ideas. I basically thought of my own ideas and need help to make one of them possible as a project. Here are some ideas:

1. Recently Canada has legalized Marijuana and I would like to do a project that involves the future negative effects of this drug.

2. My second idea is on global warming. I researched and figured out that there is this organization called SPICE which involves some people who are thinking of building an ''artificial volcano''. The volcano would burst out sulphate particles which would cool down the Earth for a period of time.

Therefore is it possible for any of these ideas to be made into a science fair project. I was thinking of making a research project but don't know how to prove my theory. I would appreciate any guidance and help towards making one of these ideas a project. If you guys have any other ideas for projects somewhat related to these topics please let me know

Personally, I think both of your ideas are great! Whichever one you think could turn into a thorough research project or something that could be tested, that would probably be the best one to go with.

Hello,

I was wondering if this theory or experiment can be used to help people in the society. Suppose maybe through some device or something. The thing is that I really wanted to do a project that could help people in the society but this project I came across to seemed interesting so I kind of wanted to combine those two things.

I would gladly appreciate any feedback or any help.
