Deionized water

Post by deleted-697213 »

I am doing an experiment with Graphene. I need deionized water to create a solution consistig of graphene , and to test it I am using conductivity to test it. However, my deionized water is conducting electricity possibly messing up my results. Where can I buy deionized water so that water has resistance rather than full conductivity.

Hi there!

Yes, if your solution is conducting a lot of electricity it is not deionized. You can get deionized water on Amazon, sometimes at auto parts stores (I would call ahead), Sigma and Fisher science also sell it but it may be pricey.

Let me know if you still have a hard time finding some!
