Difference between volume of water and Ice

Post by deleted-711247 »

if we have water and ice of equal volume, will the volume of the ice be equal to the volume of water after the ice has melted and become liquid?

taking into consideration the anomalous expansion of water...

thanks for your time!

Hello,
The Ask the Expert forums are for parents and teachers and students in grades K-12 who are doing hands-on science projects. If you are doing a hands-on science project, please provide some detail about the project including your hypothesis and plans for experiments.

Just for fun, you could actually do a hands-on test to answer your own question!
