Project Question? Effect of Climatic Changes on ___???

Hi guys!

I've been really passionate about climate change for quite some time and I wanted to do a science fair project on it. What should be the thing that I test climatic changes on? I was thinking maybe plants or algae but do you guys have suggestions? Thanks!!!

There are many things to test climate changes on. I would recommend you start with asking yourself about what you want to get from this experiment, why you are doing this experiment, what specific aspect of the climate change you want to observe, etc. Then it will be easier to figure out the materials needed for the experiment and how to do it.

Using several different plants you could see how they grow when the temperature in their environment increases. You may find some plants that grow better as the temperature goes up while others will wilt and die. One of the difficult parts of the experiment will be finding a way to be able to vary the temperature in an otherwise same environment.

Don't forget that climate change is and will continue to cause global changes in things besides temperature: atmospheric gas concentrations, ocean acidity, desertification, etc!
