tesla coil experiment ASAP

Hi. I'm in 11th grade and I'm trying to do a PJAS (pennsylvania junior academy of science) project. Pretty much the important guidlines are: 1. experiment needs to be testing something (aka needs to use sci method) and 2. experiment has to have some sort of real life application (aka hows this affect the world).

I have to have my experiment written down on paper (the title, what the question is, etc) by November 3rd. so i need feedback asap if possible (the experiment itself doesnt have to be completed until february)

I want to do something with tesla coils but all I get when I google tesla coil is how to build them.... nothing about possible experiments.

I had a thought about creating an electromagnetic field around the tesla coil to see if the output of the coil was increased but i dont know if this is viable or worth the time.

If you could help help me think of some sort of project involving a tesla coil please let me know!!!!

I see that your deadline is fast approaching. If you haven't figured it out for yourself, we may not be able to help much given the short timeframe.

In general, I think picking something cool - like a tesla coil - and then trying to figure out what to do with it is hard. Also, tesla coils are inherently dangerous. There have been several postings about them in this forum over the last year. If memory serves, those students were urged to avoid tesla coils.
