I need help.
Hi im doing science fair m,y project is do mnemonics help you on your tests. I'm letting contestants take a test its not timed so they can take their time. Then when they finish i will give them another one but before i will tell them mnemonics to help them on the 2 test. I need help with the IV CV and Dv pls help its due tomorrow

Hi Ava, this may be too late, but it sounds like you'll need two groups, one that you give mnemonic help to on the second test, and one that takes the second test but doesn't have mnemonic help.
Your independent variable is then "did or did not receive mnemonic help for the second test"
Your dependent variable would be how the two groups did on the second test (this is the outcome data you'd be comparing, to see if your hypothesis is correct)
By Cv do you mean control? I would say your control would be how well each person did on the initial test; you'll need to take that into account when you compare how well they did on the second test.
