How does color effect heat absorption and exothermic......Urgent!

hello,I am doing a science fair project on,"How does color effect heat absorption and exothermic."
I covered the bottles with non-woven fabric(white ,red ,yellow ,blue ,black ,brown ,no fabric),and also add water in it .(I used seven bottles in total.)I put these 7 bottles into a round box with aluminum foil inside. I use Halogen lamp to heating these bottles,and measure temperature in 3 hours.(Halogen lamp is at the bottom )
Here are some question:
1.how can I measure exothermic temperature?
2.What size round box do i need?(please tell me why )
3.How far is the lamp from the bottle?(please tell me why,too )
4.please tell me the expected results of the project
5.please give me some interesting ideas or any experiment about this title(I very need this ... please tell me)
p.s. I am not from English speaking countries, so my English is not very good, maybe I will use the wrong words, please excuse me
