How do I test the absorption rate of gummy vitamins?

Post by deleted-877958 »

For our project, we will be evaluating the bioavailability/absorption rate of different gummy vitamin brands. Do we have to use a substance similar to stomach acid in order to test it, or is the combination of water and vinegar enough to test it?

Thank you!

I think you should try it with what you have and see if the vitamins can be differentiated. If they are too similar, use a stronger acid environment. Now you have more data!
