Scietific Method

Post by cmst385l »

I have completed one exercise using 10 pennies and mass. I am looking for some brainstorm ideas which can be done from home with items around the souse. Any ideas/assistance would be greatly appreciated!
I completed one exercise with 10 pennies. I am just trying to brainstorm some other potential ideas to use the scientific method where I can complete this at home with household items.

I am to assume that you have to do several simple experiments using household items and use the scientific method to conduct them? In that case, I shall assume that you are of a lower grade level.

Try this: come up with several statements about objects around your house--ex: this brand is better at this than this, if I do this then this will turn out better--and prove them. Take two glass-cleaning brands and see which can clean more with one swipe. Take two paper towel brands and see which can absorb more water. At what temperature will sugar dissolve the quickest in water? That sort of thing.

I hope this helped.
